Mere Bible is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

• Reading Preferences: Your selected translation, theme, and font size are stored locally on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.
• Donation Information: If you make a donation, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. Stripe may collect your email address for receipt purposes.
• Analytics: We do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools on the web app.

Data Storage

Bible text is fetched from Google Cloud Firestore. Your reading preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage and are not synced to any server.

Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Hosts our Bible text database and search functionality.
• Stripe: Processes donations securely.
• Vercel: Hosts our web application.
